Important and Quick Notes

• Busses - Bus routes are getting settled out and running smoothly. There are no significant changes to the bus routes from last year but if you have any questions please call us here at school or call Betcha Transit Directly (388-7800). We are making a strong effort to ensure that the busses are safe and respectful places for all kids. We will be talking with all of the busses about our expectations. Please take a moment to remind your child about what you expect from them on the bus. Riding the bus should be a good experience for all kids and with our combined efforts I know it can improve.
• Gym Shoes - Please make sure your child has running type sneakers for Physical Education class. Last year there were too many unsafe shoes in class!
• Mentoring Program - Please let us know if you are interested in becoming a mentor for one of our Starksboro kids. A very big thank you to all those who have mentored students…our initial years have been an incredible success!
• Parking and drop off/pick up times - If you are going to park please only use the parking lot. The front circle is only for quick drop offs in the morning and the late afternoon. All other times, kids should enter and leave the school from the front (parking lot side). Also, please have kids to the school by 8…coming late is hard for them and makes for a rougher start to the school day. Students are dismissed from classes at 3 pm.
