Modeling Life

This unit is designed to provide students with the experience necessary to develop a deeper understanding of proportionality through the lenses of scaling and geometry.  Students will have the opportunity to create their own scale model of something that is meaningful or relevant to their own lives.  This project challenges students to transfer their proportional reasoning skills and understanding of two- and three-dimensional geometry into useful, real life application
