PBS TeacherLine Online Professional Development

Vermont Public Television and WGBY, Public Television in western MA, collaborate to bring PBS TeacherLine to VT educators.  These PreK-12 online courses integrate technology into learning content in meaningful/organic ways.  PBS TeacherLine has been cited in the new National Education Technology Plan "as an example of positive effort in preparing new educators and providing ongoing professional learning, as well as demonstrating the importance of collaboration among teachers."  With Vita-Learn spring scholarships and the average 30-hour course costing $295 (and graduate credits as low as $79 each) TeacherLine is affordable, high-quality professional development

You can explore a particular area of interest or meet your specific PD requirements in a supportive online environment that makes learning flexible and accessible, even for beginners.  Many courses are available this spring and summer in Instructional Strategies, Instructional Technology, Reading/Language Arts, Mathematics, Science and STEM, such as:
